Digitopolis designed and built this Totem for Central Festival Pattaya Beach
The name came from names of 4 ethnic origins, May (US); Maia (Russian); Mei (Chinese) and เม (Thai).
The sculpture represents Pattaya as cultural melting pot in which people from all over the world live their harmonious lives in the city of joy and great fun.

ชื่อ “May” มาจากชื่อที่เป็นชื่อที่พ้องเสียงกันของคน สี่เชื้อชาติ ไทย ชื่อ คุณเม อเมริกันชื่อ May รัสเซียชื่อ Maia จีนชื่อ Mei (เหม่) ตามภาพทั้งสี่ด้านของตุ๊กตาตัวนี้
โดย แนวความคิดต้องการสื่อให้เห็นความเป็นสถานที่หลอมรวมคนจากหลากเชื้อชาติของ เมืองพัทยาซึ่งอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างสันติ และมีความสุข ในเมืองแห่งความสนุกสุขสันต์และบันเทิงนี้
