Our new iPhone app is released today. Fortune Stick Seamsee

Fortune Stick Shaker is an old fortune telling art originated in China. The process starts with praying to the Supreme Being and asking what one needs to know whether it’s job-related, love life or simply day-to-day living issue. Hold the cylindrical bamboo container at a shallow angle –almost horizontal. Gently shake the container up and down. Stir and move about until one particular stick begins to move forward. Keep shaking until this stick falls out completely. Read the number on the end of the stick and fetch the corresponding fortune from the compartment. The read-out is written in beautiful poetic language.

The Dragon Temple, Wat Leng Noei Yi, also known officially as Wat Mangkon Kamalawa is located in Pomprab Sattru Pai district in the heart of Bangkok’s China Town. The Dragon Temple is the largest and oldest and most sacred Mahayana Buddhism temple in Thailand. A lot of people visit the site just to ask for answer from two most revered statues namely the Grand Buddha and Guan Yim the Goddess of Compassion and Mercy by means of the fortune stick shaker.

This application collects the actual read-outs from both respected figures’ slot in Bangkok’s Dragon Temple.
